THE Scottish Sun has been named among the winners of an awards competition celebrating the best of online media.
The paper took the title, Best Brand Development, at the Online Media Awards, run by the Glasgow-based media and marketing magazine, The Drum.
The Guardian website and RadioTimes.com were among the main winners. The Herald & Times Group was commended in the Best Commercial Innovation category, while the Edinburgh Evening News was among the finalists for the Best Specialist Site for Journalism award.
The Scottish Sun was also a finalist in the Best National/World News Site, Best Twitter Feed, Best App (for smart phone or tablet) and Best Designed Site categories.
