I AM a Glasgow-based freelance photographer covering PR / industry / corporate / commercial photography as well as private commissions.
For 14 years, I was a member of the picture desk staff at the Herald and Evening Times newspapers where I specialised in digital imaging and retouching.
My relaxed approach when photographing people brings out the best in them and I enjoyed photographing Rod Stewart, Nicola Sturgeon, Alistair Darling or William McIlvanney just as much as the kids at Bishopton Primary, modern apprentices or a historian from Govan.
My work has been widely published in newspapers, books and brochures, in PR packages, marketing materials and corporate publications, and on the walls of art galleries and hotels. From product shots and pictures for public relations purposes, from individual commissions to working for some of Britain’s biggest names, my portfolio covers all kinds of images from the private and personal to the immense and industrial.
