CLOSING DATE: November 27, 2015
DO you shudder at the sight of a badly-kerned headline? Do clever nested style sheets make you smile? Is ‘snap-to-guides’ just how you roll?
Alternatively, do you have a passion for words, can spot a typo at a thousand yards and secretly enjoy proofing menus and shampoo bottles?
If so, you might just be the freelance designer or sub-editor Connect Publications is looking for.
Following a number of recent contract wins, we’re expanding our pool of talented freelance sub-editors and designers to support our award-winning team.
Our print and online publications cover subjects as diverse as whisky and wildlife to energy and education. We don’t expect you to have an in-depth knowledge of all these subjects, but we do expect creativity, great attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
Flexibility is also an advantage, as shifts are often available at short notice due to our clients’ changing requirements.
If you’re interested, drop a line to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject header ‘freelance’ telling us a little bit about yourself. Shifts are mainly at our head office in Paisley.
