Media Job: Multi-media reporter, Scotland, SSVC

SSVC has been awarded a LIBOR grant to increase reporting of military welfare issues and to better inform the community about the operation of the Armed Forces Covenant and is setting up a small team to deliver these aims.

The post will be offered as a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Scotland.

We are looking for a cross-platform reporter who will identify, set up and film their own stories providing content for TV, digital and radio platforms as appropriate.

The successful candidate will already have reporting experience, strong technical skills and a journalism qualification.

Training will be given on our specific kit. Knowledge of the charity sector and the military community would be an advantage. Good written and spoken English are essential.

Candidates for this post will be expected to have a good knowledge of Scottish issues.

For all posts there will be a need for UK travel, including overnights and it may be necessary to work at weekends or evening so flexibility and a full driving licence are required.
