THE Press and Journal, Scotland’s best-selling quality newspaper and the biggest regional daily paper in the UK, is seeking a page/graphic designer – features.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working designer who will be responsible for creating newspaper pages for our range of daily supplements and magazines, as well as designing eye-catching graphics.

The candidate should have a good background in design, and use of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Great attention to detail and a solid grasp of English is required to work with copy when designing pages from scratch.

Based in Aberdeen, you will work as part of the features desk on our range of titles, and you will also produce work for news, sport, business and promotions.

The successful candidate will work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. You will be part of a design team but will also be capable of working alone.

As well as having a flair for design, you will be a good communicator and show flexibility and a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week, working from our Aberdeen office.
