AT Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), our role is to focus on ‘all of nature for all of Scotland’.

Following internal restructuring we are recruiting for a stakeholder manager to bring this to life amongst the public at large and specific stakeholder groups.

Scotland is synonymous with iconic wildlife and outstanding natural landscapes and the team at SNH is passionate about keeping this in the public conscience and on the media agenda. We are looking for candidates that share our vision.

The stakeholder manager will have expertise in stakeholder management and engagement, and be skilled in managing sensitive issues. They will have a sound understanding of the political environment both at national and local level, in addition to the above communication disciplines.

For this position, you will have a good appreciation of the sensitivities of working in a political environment dealing with issues where there may be strongly conflicting views.

This post will join the management team within the Communications Unit at SNH and successful candidates with therefore have strong leadership skills.
