Media job: Digital content producer, The Sunday Post

AS part of our continued development of our digital proposition, we are recruiting for a digital content producer to support and drive forward our Sunday Post website, social media and digital edition.

As digital content producer, you will:

  • Be actively involved in producing great new content in all types of digital formats: copy, images, video, audio and animation.
  • Undertake regular content updates and activity across all digital channels, ensuring all content is vibrant, fit for purpose and conforms to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all content meets our target markets for the web, mobile, app, email and social media.
  • Develop and manage the social media channels to drive traffic to the sites and build engaged digital communities.

With previous experience of online writing and editing, you will possess working knowledge of web content management systems, social media platforms, and knowledge of HTML and CSS. An understanding of digital analytics packages would be advantageous as would a working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Edge or video editing. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please note: hours of work for this role will contain Saturdays and/or Sundays.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week, working from our Glasgow office.
