An exciting opportunity to join one of Scotland’s biggest publishers has arisen for an experienced social media superstar.
We want to change the way we utilise and communicate with our vast digital audiences to the benefit of our printed products and the successful candidate will lead the charge in this change.
Reporting directly to the head of Marketing for Newspapers you will maximise the hard copy sales and digital subscriptions of our newspaper titles by strategically growing and retaining our highly-engaged digital audiences.
You will highlight the editorial staples of our titles with targeted social campaigns in conjunction with the overall marketing brand strategy and always ensure we are on trend, on brand, on message and continually improving our approach to social interaction.
This full-time role will be based at DC Thomson’s Meadowside headquarters in the heart of Dundee, which was recently dubbed the UK’s coolest little city and is home to the internationally lauded V&A Dundee design museum.
The key requirements for the role include:
- Two years+ digital marketing experience managing multiple brands and stake holders.
- A measurable history of success in growing social audience.
- First-class organisational, planning and communication skills essential.
- Experience at working with stakeholders at director level advantageous.
- A qualification in marketing is advantageous but not essential.
