CONNECT has three exciting opportunities to join its 30-plus strong team.
Connect is a creative communications and publishing agency with offices in Edinburgh and Paisley, producing magazines and communication channels for a client list that includes membership organisations such as the Law Society of Scotland and the General Teaching Council for Scotland, and leading businesses including Rolls-Royce plc, TechnipFMC plc and EDF Energy.
Account/content managers
We have openings for two account/content managers to join our team. One full time and one maternity-cover contract (starting in May).
Our ideal candidates will be experienced journalists/editors or communications professionals and in similar roles at an agency, working in-house or in a publishing company. We require a minimum of five years’ experience of working on communication, content or publishing projects. These can range from magazines to websites, and everything in between. The ability to plan and write for digital, social and print audiences is a must for this role. We regularly ghost write for CEOs and opinion formers. The ability to collaborate with colleagues across our creative, commercial and digital teams is important. Some travel may be required for one of the roles.
Our preference for both these roles is that they are based in our Paisley office. However, we are flexible and consideration will be given to being based in our Edinburgh office.

Junior artworker
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic junior designer/artworker to join our busy studio in Paisley.
We are looking for someone with heaps of potential, a willingness to learn and the drive to pitch in and support the design team with artworking tasks. We work with clients large and small in a fast-paced environment across various platforms: print publishing, email, web, moving image and campaigns.
As well as artworking and general studio production, under the guidance of the senior design team, we would expect you to be responsible for processing adverts, image retouching and magazine page layout amongst other things.
This position would suit a recent college graduate and provide a great career start.
