Media job: Multimedia reporter, Evening Telegraph

CLOSING DATE: October 11, 2019

THE Dundee Evening Telegraph, part of the DC Thomson Media Group, is on the lookout for a multimedia reporter.

The Evening Telegraph is one of the most successful evening papers in Britain – and we are pretty proud of the fact. But that doesn’t mean we are complacent; far from it. In fact, we just want to keep improving.

Our paper is read by tens of thousands and our website gains in excess of 100,000 page views a day.

We need a committed reporter to join our brilliant team. You need to have a deep desire to bring our readers the best stories and will need to be enthusiastic and hard-working. We also want you to come to work (and go home again) with a smile on your face.

Oh, and it would be great if you quite liked the sound of your own voice too. You see, in addition to our website which we keep supplied with video and audio, we also have a popular radio station (Wave FM) and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Dundee is an exciting place to be right now and chances like this don’t come round too often – don’t miss out.

Requirements for this role include:

* Excellent attention to detail;

* Brilliant communication skills;

* Experience in journalism;

* Determination; and

* A driving licence.
