The Press and Journal, one of the best-selling regional newspapers in Britain, is looking for a first-class HEAD OF NEWS to oversee its news-gathering operation. This will involve managing one of the largest teams of reporters of any regional newspaper and playing a key role in the production of seven daily editions covering the entire north of Scotland. Our circulation area is twice the size of Wales and we have staff based in a network of district offices as far apart as Edinburgh, Inverness and Fort William.
The successful candidate will be currently in a senior role on a major daily newspaper and seeking an opportunity to develop his/her skills even further, while enjoying the additional benefits of working for a quality, privately-owned title in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.
