The Greenock Telegraph is seeking to appoint a senior reporter.
This is a key position on the flagship evening newspaper of Romanes Media Group and we are looking for someone with creativity, drive and a determination to play a leading role within our team of experienced journalists. The successful candidate will have experience of covering a wide range of tasks, with experience of council, sheriff and preferably High Court reporting. You should be highly motivated and demonstrate a flexible approach to succeed in one of the country’s busiest and most rewarding news patches.
You should also be keen to take on off-diary reporting and be able to demonstrate ideas to generate interesting and informative content for the title.
Fully NCTJ qualified with 100 wpm shorthand, applicants should be able to demonstrate a passion for the job and a knowledge of the Telegraph’s circulation area.
