An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the Press and Journal as Online Editor, shaping the direction and tone of the website and its digital publishing.

We are looking for an experienced web/online editor who can help take the P&J digital offering onto the next level. The role will report directly to the Editor and will work with the digital team ensuring an excellent representation of the brand digitally.

To be applicable for this role you will require:

- Experience in a web/online editorial role

- Excellent eye for detail

- Experience working within the media/publishing sector.

Digital content producers

We have an exciting opportunity within our digital team at Aberdeen Journals for two Digital Content Producers. These roles are key in helping to drive our digital proposition forward.

You will work within the digital team and very closely with the titles’ Online Editors to ensure content is produced and optimised for the digital platforms and audiences. You will be expected to produce all forms of copy and multimedia to enhance the website and apps for the P&J, Evening Express and Energy publications.

To be applicable for this role you will require the following:

- Experience in a web/online production role

- Experience of writing for the web

- Experience of web content management systems

- Excellent eye for detail

- Experience of Photoshop, InDesign or video production an advantage.
