Communications and engagement officer – Historic Scotland

APPLICATIONS are invited for the post of  communications and engagement officer at Longmore House, Edinburgh. This is a three-year, fixed-term, full-time, pensionable position with the possibility of extension or permanency.

The communications function of Historic Scotland manages the external and internal media activity of the agency as well as digital and social media programmes, Gaelic policy, corporate events and the Image Unit.

The communications and engagement officer will work across all areas of the directorate as well as the wider agency and RCAHMS and will be expected to develop strong relationships with contacts in Scottish Government and key stakeholders across the historic environment sector.
