ARE you an excellent communicator, with an enthusiasm for the marine environment and/or science?

Would you like to live in Oban on the Scottish west coast and work full-time as part of a small but busy communications team in an institute that delivers marine research, higher education and public engagement?

The communications officer acts as media officer, takes a lead on copy-writing and editing for digital and printed publications and plays an important role in brand enforcement.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, prolific, science-literate communicator with media experience. The position would suit an experienced journalist. The candidate must be a team player and be able to accommodate flexible working hours when required.
