Media Job: Trainee feature writer, The Press and Journal

A TRAINEE feature writer is being sought, to join our features desk.

Every day is different on features because the team are working across all of our daily supplements – from the Saturday YL lifestyle magazine to Your Home, Your Car, Your Weekend and Your Job, with plenty of other projects in between.

The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, with the versatility to work on lighter material and on news features with a harder edge – for our supplements and the Press and Journal’s news pages.

You will be full of ideas for news features, and other content with reader appeal, and have the ability to drive assignments through on your own initiative, with bags of enthusiasm to tackle anything and everything.

You will also be working for exciting P&J web pages.

This challenging role will suit someone with relevant news and features experience.
