IT gets you out of bed in the morning and pays the bills, but are you looking for much more from your job?

Mary’s Meals is a fast-growing international charity, currently providing 996,926 hungry and impoverished children in 12 countries with a daily school meal.

We are looking for a graphic designer to work within the international communications team, to ensure Mary’s Meals visual brand is engaging and consistent, designing materials for use by both Mary’s Meals International and for affiliate countries and support the introduction of new brand/style guidelines.

You will be required  to create an efficient design process from concept to delivery and setting a general scope for design projects that is well understood and embraced by the organisation.

You will be able to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, using design innovation within the constraints of cost and time and be able to design a range of printed materials from conceptual stage through to laying out for print ensuring they have high visual impact using Adobe Creative Suite.

This could include the Mary’s Meals annual report, volunteer packs, charity credentials, brochures, leaflets and posters that will uphold our key messages and values, and make a credible and compelling case for the charity’s approach in helping to lift impoverished and marginalised children in the developing world out of poverty.

You will require excellent visual communication skills and ability to present ideas and create designs with high visual impact while working to tight deadlines.

In addition, you will have exceptional creative flair and an innovative approach to all design projects from concept creation to finished product.

A degree or HND qualified or equivalent level professional experience is also essential.

If you have the ability to design compelling content, and create strong processes to underpin this, to tell the story of Mary’s Meals, with the aim of attracting new supporters, developing relationships with existing supporters and reinforcing the values of the organisation to make a difference to the lives of thousands of children across the world, we’d love to hear from you.

By contributing to the work of Mary’s Meals, you will become part of a worldwide movement of people who will not accept that any child in this world of plenty should endure a day without a meal.
