ROMANES Media Group is seeking to appoint a trainee reporter to join its team of journalists at its Dunfermline office.
Applicants must have undergone NCTJ pre-entry training or equivalent, have a great news sense, good writing ability, speed and accuracy, the confidence to work under pressure and the desire and hunger to find their own exclusive stories.
Preferably a car owner with excellent shorthand, applicants should have a strong record of work experience and a passion for the job.
Working for the Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times, this is a terrific opportunity for someone to show what they can do and make a significant contribution to our newsroom.
They should also show a willingness to learn new techniques and develop their skills as a multimedia reporter in an ever-changing media landscape, with a keen awareness of how best to use the paper’s growing digitial media platforms in relation to the core print product.
