Social Media Officer

YOU will be responsible for managing Police Scotland social networking sites on a daily basis and ensure they are refreshed with up-to-date and relevant content. You will be responsible for the co-ordination, implementation and maintenance of social media plans both nationally and at a divisional level, and execute the social media strategy for Police Scotland.

You will be qualified to diploma/degree level or equivalent in marketing/communications/PR or relevant experience of working in similar environment. You will possess good IT and computer skills including Microsoft packages, excellent communication skills, project planning, organisational skills and experience of using social media channels as part of the communications mix are also essential.

This is a permanent post.
