YOUR Radio is looking for talented, reliable broadcast journalists to join our pool of freelancers.
As part of Romanes Media group, we broadcast from modern studios in Clydebank to the Firth of Clyde and Loch Lomondside, covering areas like Dumbarton, Helensburgh, Clydebank, Greenock and Dunoon.
You’ll ideally have some newsroom experience, but we will also consider applications from those just graduated or about to graduate in broadcast journalism.
You’ll have an outstanding voice and be willing to go the extra mile to create engaging news output for our listeners.
You’ll have a full driving licence, and excel at working on your own as well as part of a small team.
You’ll also ideally have some experience of reading live bulletins, and will know how to write and deliver scripts in a creative and interesting way for our target audience.
Experience of Burli Newsroom software is preferred but not essential, as training can be given.
