SCOTLAND’S largest PR and digital marketing agency, The BIG Partnership, has taken on more than a dozen new clients, worth more than £300,000 in annual fees, during a bumper start to the year.

Key new client wins include Italian restaurant chain, Tony Macaroni, Linlithgow-based energy consultancy, EcoEnergy Group, and regional tourism agency, VisitLanarkshire.

BIG will work on three projects to promote VisitLanarkshire venues and attractions, through an integrated communications campaign.

Meanwhile, the agency’s corporate team will raise EcoEnergy Group’s profile in the energy-efficiency sector following the company’s announcement of a new partnership with Irish-based Crowley Carbon.

BIG’s digital team recently completed a fresh-looking new website for the company, reflecting its fast-growing expansion into both the Scottish and international markets.

The firm’s Aberdeen office has also had a bright start to the year by taking on a host of new clients, including the Nautical Institute, MSIS, and Bright Green Hydrogen, which is the lead consortium partner for the pioneering Levenmouth Community Energy Project.

Neil Gibson, co-founder and director at The BIG Partnership, said: “We continue to win work with a range of organisations across a variety of sectors – whether that’s in energy, education or sport.

“Our combination of digital, design and content services means we continue to develop long-term relationships with businesses and organisations looking to reach their target audiences.”

BIG also continued to invest heavily in its digital capabilities in the first few months of the year. The agency recruited Euan Blair as a digital account director, who joined from Peach Digital where he was head of marketing.

Neil Gibson added: “Despite challenging conditions in the North Sea in the first few months of the year, our Aberdeen office has performed remarkably. As the oil price begins to steady, we’d hope to see that continue throughout the rest of 2015.

“Digital also continues to be a strong source of growth for BIG. Over the past year we’ve been investing heavily in this area and we’re expanding our digital capabilities across the business.”
