BRE Scotland is once again set to support the Scottish Property Awards, the national awards programme which recognises excellence in commercial and public property.
This year, the organisation is to sponsor the Development of the Year category, and BRE director for Scotland, Rufus Logan, will sit on the judging panel, chaired by Karen Anderson, who is chair of Architecture + Design Scotland.
The awards, which are now in their third year, have been extended to a total of 16 categories covering the best in development, deals, teams and talent within Scotland, therefore a record number of entries are expected before the deadline of Thursday 15 October 2015.
Rufus Logan notes: “I anticipate that the quantity and quality of entries will be even better than before, given that construction activity is continuing to grow in Scotland. From a BRE standpoint, we are focussed on the importance of sustainable development and I trust this will once again be demonstrated in a large proportion of this year’s entries.”
Winners will be announced at a glittering awards dinner to be held in the Glasgow City Hotel (formerly The Thistle) on Thursday 3 March 2016.
