Media Release: Preview of festive delights at Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair

COUNTRY Living Christmas Magazine Fair is back at SECC, Glasgow from 19 – 22 November where over 300 exhibitors will offer unique gifts, inspired ideas and decorations,which will bring that magical Christmas sparkle to every home.

The organisers have given a sneak preview of some of the festive delights awaiting visitors

Lauren Smith will sell her collection of homeware textile which use her own illustrative prints, as well as a selection of wrapping paper, cards and gift tags. Apron £25. Oven glove £15.

Edinburgh Christmas Gin couldn’t be more Christmassy, vapour infused with fragrant frankincense and myrhh and combined with nutmeg, clove and orange for the ultimate way to celebrate the winter months. RRP £35.

Ermana has a beautiful range of skincare products including Revive face oil with lavender and frankincense, which works as an anti-ageing treatment. It tones the skin and can slow down the appearance of wrinkles. £25.

Angels’ Share Glass upcycled candles for whisky-lovers were developed as an eco-friendly way to recycle used bottles.

The whisky bottles are cleaned and then specially split before being filled with whisky- scented pure soy wax to make unique gifts which look and smell amazing. The large bottom bottle candles last for hours and make a lovely table centrepiece. £20.

Four festive experts

Jak O’Donnel is an award-winning chef who runs The Sisters restaurants in Glasgow and has appeared on Great British Menu. Jak, who prides herself on being an ambassador for traditional dishes, will demonstrate a dish that smells and looks like Christmas, even before you start digging in!

Fiona Sciolti is a multi, award-winning artisan chocolatier who creates extraordinary chocolates using real fruits, flowers, teas and herbs. Many of her flavours are short runs, based on seasonality and many of her ingredients are sourced from the countryside and local grower.

Karon Grieve amongst many other things is the author of So Easy Herbal and So Easy Christmas. In her demonstrations, Karon will be showing us how to make some naughty but nice foodie gifts.

Sheila Jones has a passion for baking stemming from many afternoons spent with her mum learning the intricacies and secrets of delicious home baking. Sheila will share the joys of baking and cake decorating.
