JUST a handful of places remain available at the forthcoming flagship event of the Aberdeen, Highlands & Islands branch of the Energy Institute (EI).

The organisation’s annual black tie dinner is widely regarded as one of the industry’s premier events in the region and it will be held at Aberdeen’s Marcliffe Hotel & Spa on 25 February 2016.

The dinner’s track record of attracting top notch speakers continues this year with delegates set to hear from Maria Moræus Hanssen who will fulfil her first UK public speaking engagement since her recent appointment overseeing ENGIE’s (former GDF Suez) global E&P operations.

Also addressing the event will be returning speaker Mike Wagstaff, chair of North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP) and the former CEO of Venture Production.

Commenting on plans for the dinner, branch chair, Nigel Bradburn FEI, says: “We are very pleased with the level of advanced ticket sales which are undoubtedly driven by the event’s reputation as one of the highlights of the local energy industry calendar, and its long history of showcasing expert speakers of the very highest calibre.

“We continue to be very grateful for the level of support the industry gives to the EI locally and we look forward to using profits from the evening to enhance our charitable objectives.”
