DALGETY Bay-based technology consultancy, Cooper Software, has won the category of ‘Best Performing Business (under 50 employees)’ at the Fife Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, held in Rothes Hall, Glenrothes on Friday 18th March.
The Fife Business Awards showcase business excellence in the Fife region, providing widespread recognition to the winners.
The event also celebrated outstanding examples of the business community driving forward the local economy.
The category won by Cooper Software is intended to highlight successful businesses within the Fife area, with a particular focus on how they have developed in terms of turnover, employment, innovative marketing and communications.
Cooper Software has grown significantly since being established in 2005 and have shown double-digit growth, year-on-year, over ten years. Last year, the company produced revenues of £3m and this year has grown its revenues by more than 20 per cent to circa £4m and currently employs 43 people. It counts Whitworths, Butcher’s Pet Care, Harland and Wolff, Sky, BMW, Farrow & Ball and Olympus amongst its clients.
Cooper Software operates in a niche area of technology consultancy, specialising in business intelligence and enterprise software with a focus on making their clients’ business systems work more efficiently, leading to innovative and successful business change.
The company has a wide variety of clients across a number of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, high-tech, CPG and defence.
Cooper Software has developed their own suite of software packages to complement the global ERP system, IFS, as well as offering additional integration solutions from global tech heavyweights NetSuite, a cloud-based business management suite and Qlik business intelligence data analysis.
