A WELL-known Aberdeen facility offering care for the elderly has further enhanced the services it offers to residents thanks to a key appointment.
The city facility has recently been the focus of a multi-million pound upgrading project which has included the refurbishment of lounges and bedrooms, the creation of a new restaurant/dining room, bar, celebration room for private functions, cinema, and library.
In addition has been the creation of what is believed to be one of only two care home-based spa salons in the area, the other being located at Rubislaw Park’s sister care home in Cults. Alicia Tereskiewiczova has been appointed to the Rubislaw Park team to provide a wide range of beauty and therapeutic services either within the salon itself, or in the comfort of residents’ rooms.
Commenting on Alicia’s appointment, Rubislaw Park Care Home director of nursing, Kristin Jackson-Brown, said: “We are delighted to add this service to help improve the quality of the living environment for our residents. Therapies such as those Alicia is able to provide can be very important for residents who have complex care requirements and the service is already in great demand.”
Alicia Tereskiewiczova added: “I am delighted to join the team at one of Aberdeen’s leading care facilities which is blazing a trail for 21st century care for the elderly”
