Media Release: Scotland’s top sporting fixture on Saturday 12 November could be…

SPORTS fans have a tough selection to make about which top-class events to support on Saturday 12 November.

The pick of the crop includes watching Scotland take on Australia international rugby match in Edinburgh while, over in Glasgow, there’s the chance to see football legends, Frank McAvennie and John Brown, in action.

They will share their no-holds-barred tales from the dressing room at Epilepsy Scotland’s inaugural Sports Dinner at La Bonne Auberge from 6.30pm.

Luckily, supporters don’t have to face a difficult choice and can enjoy both fixtures.

Those coming back from Murrayfield will have plenty of time to head to the leading national charity’s first-ever fundraising sporting dinner fixture.

The venue’s intimate round table setting will spark a full and frank exchange of the best wit and humorous stories from former Celtic and Rangers players Frank McAvennie and John Brown.

Community and events fundraiser, Kerry Reich, said: “This is a chance for footie fans and club supporters to enjoy a great night out and be part of an audience with two of the nation’s celebrated players.

“There will definitely be plenty of banter and laughs as well as hearing about our work to improve the lives of people affected by epilepsy.

“We hope many people will book a place and give epilepsy a sporting chance!”
