MORAY Council’s libraries service has launched a new service which gives free, unlimited access to more than 16,000 digital graphic novels and comics.

ComicsPlus gives access to popular and classic titles for personal; computer, tablet or smartphone and is available 24/7.

The selection is aimed at young people but all ages can enjoy the online content.

An unlimited number of titles can be checked out for seven days and renewed as often as desired.

A libraries service spokesman said: “It’s easy to create your own account. You will need you library card number to set it up, then you will be able to choose from a wide selection of comics and graphic novels, ranging from Star Trek to My Little Pony.”

Once an account has been created it is possible to download an app for iOS mobile devices. An Android version is planned to be released soon.

Instructions for setting up an account can be found on the Moray libraries website at www.moray.gov.uk/libraries
