A LEADING North-east accountancy firm has been named a finalist in this year’s Elevator Awards.
SBP Accountants & Tax Advisers – which has offices in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banff – will compete against two other businesses to win the Business Success Over Three Years accolade at this year’s prestigious awards ceremony.
Honouring North-east business excellence, entrepreneurial behaviour and outstanding community contributions, the Elevator Awards are now in its 18th year.
SBP has been recognised by the judges due to its business success, challenges it has faced and overcome and its growth plans for the future.
The firm, which reported an increase in turnover by 20 per cent at the start of this year, works with a number of high profile North-east businesses, ranging from sole traders to larger corporate businesses, and currently houses more than 35 employees and six partners throughout its four branches,
John Hannah, managing partner of SBP, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award and it is a testament to all of our hard work and commitment to both our clients and staff throughout this difficult time in the North-east.
“We are very much looking forward to the awards ceremony and wish the other finalists all the best on the night.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony due to take place on Thursday 29th June 2016 at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel.
