DAILY Business Group has today launched Daily Business Magazine, a features-led website and complement to the Daily Business news website.

It contains reviews, interviews and expert opinion on a wide variety of leisure and work-related issues from food and film to business consultancy and technology.

Daily Business Magazine also opens up new opportunities to advertisers and sponsors of branded editorial packages to provide tailored content.

It can be accessed independently or through the Daily Business news website and is the third strand of the Edinburgh-based Daily Business Group, which also runs DB Media Services, the photography and media strategy business.

Editor and director, Terry Murden, said: “This is another exciting development in the growth of the Daily Business Group as an integrated media company.”

Murden, who spent 20 years as a Scotland-based business journalist at The Sunday Times, The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday, and also worked for The Herald and other titles as a freelance, launched Daily Business in November 2014.

He said: “Daily Business was Scotland’s first fully independent and stand-alone business news website. There is now a team of five working across the two sites and we have an office in Edinburgh’s business district.

“Since the launch we have extended the content to include politics, sport and the arts. The magazine will take this further into lifestyle and work-based features.”

Monthly page views for Daily Business were a record 118,218 for March 2017 (Google analytics).
