THE Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show – recognised as Scotland’s largest consumer exhibition for self-builders, home renovators and improvers – is back at the SEC on May 20 – 21 2017.

The show will be brimming with bright ideas, the latest products and services and free expert advice from a wide range of experts. For small renovations to complete self builds, the Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show is the place to pick up tools, tips and inspiration from the brightest and best in the business.

Over two days, you can talk to architects, self-build specialists, legal experts, craftspeople and designers – and meet suppliers of everything from flooring and roof tiles to interior paint and storage solutions.

Experts will be on hand to provide free guidance and support to visitors for every project – from first home alterations to a full-scale self-build.

Free one-to-one sessions

Bring plans and questions to The Advice Centre and get tailored solutions in a 15-minute FREE one-to-one session with self-build experts Michael Holmes, Allan Corfield and Bob Branscombe and eco expert, Tim Pullen.

140 key suppliers

The show brings together thousands of the freshest ideas from suppliers from across the country, all in one space.

Educational masterclasses

Short sessions jam-packed with detailed advice on specific talking points – all from the brightest minds in the world of homebuilding and renovations. Topics will include Smart Home Technology, Get the most from your Architect, Getting Support for Investing in Renewables.

In-depth daily seminars

These 30-minute sessions are designed to leave visitors full of ideas on topics including A Beginner’s Guide to self-build, How to build your home for under £100,000 and How to find a reliable builder.

Exhibitor consultations

Get your questions answered from experts on design, bathrooms, estimating and interior design.

The show is taking place at the SEC, Glasgow on May 20 – 21 2017. Opening hours: Saturday 10am – 5pm; Sunday 10am – 4.30pm.
