Scotland’s top sporting fixture on Thursday 23 November is arguably…

SNOOKER fans will get an insight into the upcoming Snooker Scottish Open 2017 at the Grand Central Hotel, on Thursday 23 November.

Snooker’s Steve Davis will be speaking to Captial FM Breakfast show host, Des Clarke, about the highlights, and low points, in his career as well as offering his opinion on the next month’s Scottish Open.

Steve will share his story through his phenomenal career, from the first time he picked up a snooker cue, to claiming six World Championships at Sheffield before announcing his retirement in 2016.

Snooker super-fan, Des, will host a Q&A session with his sporting hero, and give guests the chance to pose their questions too!

The event, which takes place in the Grand Central Hotel, is in aid of Epilepsy Scotland, who are delighted to have the support of Steve Davis, Des Clarke as well as Dunfermline Athletic Football Club’s social media presenter, Steven Mill, to help raise awareness of the condition.

Head of Fundraising, Robyn Friel, said: “This is a chance for snooker fans to enjoy a great night out and be part of an audience with one of the nation’s most celebrated players.

“There will definitely be plenty of banter and laughs as well as hearing about our work to improve the lives of people affected by epilepsy. We hope many people will book a place and give epilepsy a sporting chance!”
