AS the world looks forward to the forthcoming Royal Wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle, a special announcement is made by another great British institution, which this year celebrates its landmark 90th year.
Harry Ramsden, ‘King of Fish and Chips’, confirms that his mascot, Harry the Haddock – Prince of Tides, has sealed his love for ocean queen, Meghan the Mackerel!
To celebrate the happy news, and, of course, the real Royal Wedding, on Saturday 19 May, Harry Ramsden restaurant in South Queensferry will be offering a free portion of fish and chips to any customer named Harry or Meghan!
Throughout the Royal Wedding day, Harry Ramsden’s, which recently unveiled a new Private Dining area for weddings and other celebrations, will be awash with festive bunting and oceans of free glasses of Fizz will be served to diners enjoying fish and chips, to toast the two happy couples named Harry and Meghan!
Guests to the takeaway will also be treated to two gold rings (of onion) when they purchase large fish on the day!
