Media release: 110% Gaming presents – Fortnite

Fortnite

DC Thomson Media title, 110% Gaming, launches a one off Fortnite Special magazine, for children aged eight to 14.

Since launching in 2014, 110% Gaming has become an established authority on gaming in the primary boys’ market. Following the successful spin-off title of Pokémon Special in 2016, this launch will focus on the worldwide phenomenon that is Fortnite.

Editor-in-chief of 110% Gaming, Alexandria Turner, said: “110% Gaming has proved to be a huge success for us since launch. We’re thrilled to be building on this success with another brand extension all about Fortnite. We know our readers are huge Fortnite fans and with tips and facts, favourite YouTubers and lots more, we’re confident that kids and their parents will love this mag!”

Utilising the expertise and experience of the 110% Gaming editorial team, this magazine is designed to appeal to the masses caught up in the buzz around Fortnite. Set on earth after a sudden worldwide storm causes 98 per cent of the world’s population to disappear, players must go on various missions to collect resources, build fortifications and construct weapons to combat zombie-like creatures.

The unofficial magazine includes Fortnite gamer tips, interviews with DanTDM and chances to win exclusive prizes – including headphones, a console, and V-Bucks you can use in-game.

It also comes with a 24-page ultimate survival guide and a giant poster.

110% Gaming Presents 110% Unofficial Fortnite is on sale Wednesday 23rd May, priced £3.99.
