Media release: LawBid millennial milestone as solicitor’s panel hits 1000

LawBid 1000 thumbs up

THE online legal matchmaker, LawBid, has announced that it now has over 1,000 registered solicitors from over 1,000 firms across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – meaning the public have unprecedented access to legal expertise across the UK.

It has taken the ground-breaking service just over two years to surpass four figures, and it continues to grow.

LawBid has proved adept at attracting the public to its one-stop access to expert legal representation and law firms have joined to easily and cost effectively grow their business and client base.

This milestone comes just two weeks before LawBid.co.uk takes centre stage at the Law Society Excellence Awards in London, where the platform is shortlisted in the Innovation category.

Among the latest firms to join LawBid.co.uk is Helix Law in Brighton, whose Jonathan Waters summed up using LawBid? “It’s as easy as falling off a log.” His straight-to-the-point assessment of the platform continued: “Ease of use is a big factor in making LawBid attractive to legal professionals and clients alike. There are no complications getting in the way of getting good working relationships started.”

Said LawBid founder and solicitor, Kid Harwood: “Reaching 1,000 firms is a fantastic achievement. It says everything about the simplicity of LawBid.

“Bringing on board ambitious legal firms like Helix Law shows why LawBid has grown right across the legal spectrum. The public welcome the ease with which they can reach solicitors who are already expert in their field and interested in their case, and legal firms are obviously delighted that they can reach new clients via the LawBid platform. For lawyers, it means they can spend more time working on cases, and less time chasing cases.”

For Andrew Hiesley, director at Acumen Law, who serve clients from their offices in Hove and Gatwick, it’s the personal touch that makes a difference at Acumen and this is echoed in the LawBid approach.

“The whole team at LawBid are so supportive of what we do,” he said. “We always look to be an extension of our clients’ businesses; understanding their needs to give them a truly comprehensive and tailored service. That’s exactly how the LawBid team have been with us. They always come up with tips and guidance to help us make the most of our subscription.”

LawBid offers client-facing firms like Helix and Acumen a cutting-edge in developing their business. “It’s easy for firms to use LawBid to grow their businesses, no matter where they are based,” said Kid Harwood. “It makes it much easier for them to offer their expertise to a wider market. It’s that appeal that has attracted over one thousand firms to LawBid in just two years. Clients love the thought of solicitors coming to them and I’m confident that we’ll see many more firms like Helix and Acumen grow quickly on the back of being with LawBid.”
