AN unique edge to sponsorship within Scotland is being promised by what is believed to be the first sports sponsorship conference to be taking place in the country.

The conference, which is aiming to educate all those involved on the value of sponsorship, is taking place in March 2019.

Via Sponsorship is an educational conference which will increase the knowledge, understanding and benefits of sponsorship in sport to all those involved as well as educate tomorrow’s professional athletes on the importance, processes and power of corporate sponsorship to help make their careers a success.

The conference is set to attract prominent speakers, sponsors and delegates within the industry and young athletes at the beginning of their careers.

The speakers include prominent figures within the sponsorship industry – such as Toby Hester, who is the director of the European Sponsorship Association, and Catherine Hawkins who is the founder of Think! Sponsorship.

Not only this, but the conference will provide ample opportunities for networking, bringing an invaluable aspect which can aid anyone in the development of their career within this industry.

Says conference chair, Ardi Kolah, author of Improving the Performance of Sponsorship: “This will be an unmissable conference for anyone involved in business and sport with experts from all sectors within the industry demonstrating their specialist knowledge.

“Anyone attending will gain a fuller understanding of how to achieve sponsorship for their business and how to deal with sponsors from a sales and engagement perspective.”

Day one will focus on the benefits of sponsorship and what commercial businesses can achieve by sponsoring sporting events. It will also include a series of panel debates, moderated by conference chair, Ardi Kolah.

Day two, meanwhile, will focus on athletes, with the programme taking an educational slant featuring various workshops as we seek to educate tomorrow’s professional athletes on the importance, processes and power of corporate sponsorship in making their careers a success.

The conference is offering an Early Bird Ticket rate until the 31st December to those quick enough to take advantage of this fantastic offer.

Further to this, the first 20 tickets purchased will receive a copy of Ardi’s revolutionary book, Improving the Performance of Sponsorship.

The tickets for this conference are available from https://www.viasponsorship.scot/buy-tickets/
