THE judges of the 21st World Championship Scotch Pie Awards are making their final preparations for one of their favourite days of the year – a day that will see them select the World Champion Scotch Pie for 2020.
Joining the line-up this year is award-winning stage and screen performer, Scott Kyle, who is best known for his role in the hugely popular Outlander. He is taking on the role of guest judge in his capacity as columnist for scotlandcorrespondent.com and he will be sharing his experiences of judging with the global followers of the popular online magazine for lovers of all things Scottish.
Scott says: “I grew up loving Scotch Pies and they have become such an iconic product around the world, so to be a judge at the World Championship Scotch Pie Awards and to be helping to select the pie that will be awarded the ultimate pie prize is amazing. I am really looking forward to the day.”
