THE award-winning Metropolitan cocktail bar, style bar, piano lounge and Scottish a la carte restaurant in Merchant Square in the heart of Glasgow’s historic Merchant City is playing host to an Enchanted Forest Halloween Party on Sunday 31 October from 8pm till late.
Metropolitan manager, Darren Scott, said: “Our Halloween Party will feature a range of fun activities including: a fancy dress competition; prizes; games galore; a fantastic face painter and DJ, Fox MacLeod.
“And a selection of enchanted cocktail concoctions – including Green Goblin, Pumpkin Punch and Black Shadow – will be available for one night only.”
The Halloween Party comes just weeks after Metropolitan splashed out £200,000 on a luxurious makeover.
Located on Candleriggs at the heart of the Merchant City, Glasgow’s cultural, fashion and food quarter, Merchant Square offers an eclectic selection of restaurants and cafes.
Once part of the old Glasgow Fruit Market, Merchant Square is imbued with the history of the area’s dominating Victorian architecture, although today this sense of history blends seamlessly with the distinctly cosmopolitan ambiance that pervades the surrounding cobbled streets that bring the outside in.
