LADY Drawers, the southside of Glasgow outlet for the products of local arts and crafts makers, is hosting a special Christmas Shopping Showcase at Shawlands Primary School on Friday 29 October.
Amongst the products available for purchase on the evening are: handmade sterling silver jewellery from local silversmith Fiona Fleming; handmade wool bags, scarves and bracelets from Trisha Livingston and exclusive dresses from former model Jade Carrera.
Lady Drawers partner, Carol Imrie, said: “Specialising in hand-crafted items that simply cannot be found anywhere else, Lady Drawers is the antithesis of the homogenous High Street and shopping mall culture.
“Rather than mass-manufactured products, we revel in one-off, specially made pieces that make the perfect Christmas gifts for loved ones, family and friends.
“Our Christmas Shopping Showcase at Shawlands Primary School this Friday offers the ideal start to the weekend, affording Santa Claus an opportunity to buy presents for loved-ones well away from, and well ahead of, the stressful, city centre Christmas shopping frenzy!”
Amongst Lady Drawers’ new winter range on offer on the evening are a selection from the eco-friendly clothing range Skunk Funk and new Martha Cooper Skin Botanicals moisturiser.
The Lady Drawers’ Christmas Shopping Showcase is at Shawlands Primary School, 1248 Pollokshaws Road, on Friday 29 October from 7.30 till 9.30pm
Lady Drawers also offers a constantly evolving range of clothes suitable for any occasion at affordable prices unavailable elsewhere in Glasgow and is based at 66 Nithsdale Road, Glasgow www.ladydrawers.co.uk.
