Media release: Lady Drawers to most Meet the Artisans Day

LADY Drawers, the southside of Glasgow showcase for the products of local arts and crafts makers, is to host a ‘Meet the Artisans Day’ from 4pm onwards on Thursday 18 November when customers will be given a rare opportunity to discuss with the artisans themselves the creative process involved in making their arts and crafts.

Amongst the artisans participating on the day are: silversmith Fiona Fleming, who makes handmade sterling silvery jewellery to her own exclusive designs; Trisha Livingston, who makes handmade wool bags, scarves and bracelets and former model Jade Carrera, who will be on hand to talk about her exclusive cocktail and evening wear with bespoke jewellery to complement the collection.

Lady Drawers partner, Sally Millar, said: “As many customers have asked for more information about the artisans behind our various items, we felt that a ‘Meet the Artisans Day’ was the perfect way to bring them both together.”

Amongst Lady Drawers’ new autumn range are a selection from the eco-friendly clothing range Skunk Funk and new Martha Cooper Skin Botanicals moisturizer.

Lady Drawers also offers a constantly evolving range of clothes suitable for any occasion at affordable prices unavailable elsewhere in Glasgow and is based at 66 Nithsdale Road, Glasgow www.ladydrawers.co.uk.
