Media release: Cookie counts down 12 days of Christmas – with mince pies, mulled wine and magical mystery matinee movie charity fundraiser

COOKIE, the award-winning bistro in Glasgow’s southside, is counting down the 12 days of Christmas by serving up mounds of mince pies and lashings of mulled wine.

And this Sunday (12 December), the bistro will screen a magical mystery movie charity fundraiser.

Cookie co-founder, Domenico Del Priore, said: “The family friendly matinee, with a seasonal theme, is being screened in benefit of Kidney Research with £5 being collected on the door. And we’ll be serving up an inexpensive menu with a seasonal feel to get everyone in the mood for Christmas!”

The mystery movie will be screened at 5.30pm on Sunday 12 December

Recently named Glasgow Newcomer of the Year 2010 for breaking the mould of local eating and drinking, Cookie is based at 72 Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow.
