A NEW customer engagement facility has been unveiled in Glasgow by Northgate Managed Services, following a five-figure investment in its Scottish base.

Unveiled today, Northgate’s ‘Insight Suite’ means the ICT services and solutions provider can strengthen relationships with key customers by bringing all its company-wide expertise to a Glasgow audience – at the touch of a button.

Begins a spokesperson: “Set in a relaxed and informal environment, the new Insight Suite provides Northgate with the opportunity to work in close partnership with clients to deliver tailored IT services and solutions based around individual needs.

“Customers can experience how new IT services and solutions will contribute to achieving key business goals through real-time and real-life demonstrations.”

James Turnbull, managing director, Infrastructure Solutions, Northgate Managed Services, added: “We are delighted to officially launch and open for business our new Insight Suite which offers another facility to engage with private and public sector organisations in Scotland .

“The investment is another demonstration of our commitment to growing Northgate Managed Services in Glasgow and across the country, and will help us share company-wide knowledge and expertise, whilst building on existing customer relationships.

“It’s an asset we already have and are benefitting from in our head office in Belfast and it made sense to replicate that facility here. The goal is to ensure customers receive the correct tailored solution, at the right time, which will meet their immediate and long-term business objectives.”

The spokesperson continued: “Once a clear strategy has been outlined, Northgate’s specialist client teams will be able to demonstrate services, including dedicated helpdesks, remote support, system hosting and the facilitation of home-working, and technologies from key partners such as, Microsoft, Citrix, HP, VMWare and Symantec.”

As the first customer to try out the new customer engagement facility, Gavin Cox, head of IT Infrastructure for NHS Lanarkshire, said: “I was delighted to be the first of Northgate’s customers to access its new ‘Insight Suite’ and test out its state-of-the-art real-time and real-life demonstrations.

“We have an excellent relationship with Northgate Managed Services in Scotland and while we have already benefitted from access to its company-wide expertise this latest investment only creates even more potential to do that.
