‘LADY Drawers’ at 66 Nithsdale Road, Strathbungo, Glasgow, G41 2EN has successfully completed and survived her first year in business and is celebrating this fact on Thursday the 17th Of February with some vino and discounts on the lovely handmade goodies made by the very talented local artisans of the south side of Glasgow.

Doors open from 10am til 9pm.

This is a great chance to meet the artisans and to see some of our lovely range of ladies clothing which is quite different from any of the High Street shops of Glasgow city centre.

Says a spokesperson: “We at ‘Lady Drawers’ are extremely proud of surviving in a climate which is being called a depression; so a big thank you to all of our customers, staff team members and last, but not least, our wonderfully-modest, talented artisans.

“This has been a tough year, with many hurdles that we have managed to heave ourselves over, and the next year I am sure could possibly be worse. However, we are determined to survive and I hope our wee story gives other businesses the hope and strength to keep going.

“Have faith in what you do is what I say!”
