A SCOTTISH conference and event management company has enjoyed a successful period of expansion resulting in a number of key appointments.
The company has also released figures that demonstrate a sales growth of 58.3 per cent from 2009 to 2010 and gross profit growth of 45 per cent during the same period.
Roselle Events, which also has an office in Aberdeen, has welcomed Paul Macari, 41, to the company as commercial director.
Paul previously worked as regional account manager with Marriott International, and his new role will see him take responsibility for the firm’s distribution and growth strategy.
Meanwhile, Charlotte McIntosh, 29, from Aberdeen, has been promoted to head of operations, overseeing both Aberdeen and Edinburgh operations.
Having previously held the position of senior events manager, Charlotte has a great deal of industry and operational experience having just successfully managed Roselle’s largest pharmaceutical conference – for 1,200 delegates in Barcelona in January 2011.
Also joining Roselle’s expanding team is, Rob Campbell, 42, from Peterhead, who has taken on the role of new media designer.
His appointment marks the launch of a new in-house offering for the company, covering brand development, graphic design, web design and digital media production.
The company has also employed two further events managers who will be based in Aberdeen and Edinburgh respectively, in a direct response to a marked increase in demand for the company’s services both within the UK and internationally.

Roselle Events, which was rebranded in February 2010, currently has 11 members of staff.
The company plans, produces and manages a diverse range of conference, incentive and recognition events for many corporate clients both within the UK and internationally.
