Media Release: The Avenue puts on the style with fashion show hosted by DJ Romeo

THE Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns puts on the style this Saturday 2 April with an extra special fashion show hosted by DJ Romeo.

Starting at 11.30am with a daywear show and prize giveaways, the day continues with an elegance and beauty show at noon, including a free make-up demo for a lucky audience member picked at random.

Following a brief zumba demonstration, a family, fun and fashion show starts at 1.30pm, leading on to a hair demonstration from Ab Fab at 2pm. The day concludes with a sparkling evening wear event from 3.30pm till 4pm.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “With many Avenue retailers taking part, featuring a comprehensive range of clothing, accessories and footwear in a variety of styles – as well as a selection of prizes to be won throughout the day – our fashion show sounds like the perfect day out!”

The Avenue Shopping Centre offers shoppers an alternative to sprawling trolley-dash shopping culture with a comprehensive range of outlets offering a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
