THE headquarters of ATOUT FRANCE in Paris is organising two press trips to discover nature and the Chateaux of the Loire, and one to Var in Provence.
May 9 -12: Nature and Discovery in Centre Val de Loire
Discover the rolling hills and vast woodland of the Loire Valley. Introductions to canoeing and horse riding, with accommodation in sustainable tree houses and guest houses offering tennis, fishing and swimming. Explore the historic town of Vendôme and the Perche Regional Nature Park.
May 13 – 17: Get close to Nature in the Var, Provence
In a region of exceptional landscapes marked with hill top villages, explore local olive oil mills, wine estates, cheese tasting, seaside picnics, the Volcanic Esterel Hills, a cruise to the Cap Dramont and Golden Island and the cathedral of Fréjus.
May 18 -22: The Châteaux of the Loire
Explore Cheverny and its Tintin exhibition, Valençny, Villandry and its Renaissance gardens, Azay le Rideau, the Abbey of Fontevraud and the troglodyte village of Turquant. Not forgetting local wine tasting!
