Boasting one of the largest glass frontages in the city, Limelight Bar and Grill is the ideal haunt for those wishing to be ‘seen’ in the right setting.
The classic, yet ultra, contemporary Limelight is reminiscent of the coolest – and hottest – bars and restaurants in London, in terms of originality, decor, and menu choices.
Extensive table d’hôte and a la carte menus, which will change seasonally, have been devised by award winning Executive Chef, Gerry Sharkey for the 70-seater Limelight Grill.
As well as traditional Grill options, diners can enjoy an array of mouth-watering dishes, including Local seafood bisque with prawn dumplings and rouille (£7.95) , Lemon pepper and thyme chicken with house salad and truffle honey dressing (£13.95), Rosemary and garlic Lamb Rump with creamed mushrooms(£14.95), and the exquisite Tasting Platter For Two offering ripe melon, chicken satay seafood bisque , cured ham, olives, parmesan and roquette salad, prawn marie rose, vegetable pakora and BBQ ribs (£14.95).
Limelight boasts one of the city’s most extensive and unique wine lists, which includes a number of the finest reserve wines from across globe.
In addition, Limelight Bar has revived vintage Glasgow cocktails including the Alice Underground Long Island Iced Tea and the Harvey’s Hurricane.
To add extra fizz, Moet Chandon is available by the glass whilst bottles of Perrier Jouet Champagne are available for just £30.
