MOST girls’ day outs include variations of splashing out on treats at the shops followed by cocktails and lunch in the latest trendy bar and restaurant – but that’s nothing compared to what thousands of girls are getting up to this weekend at the SECC in Glasgow.

That’s because, from today, Friday 6th May, to Sunday 8th May, the SECC will be a man-free-zone when 20,000 women descend on the third ‘Girls’ Day Out’ show – Scotland’s biggest ever health, lifestyle, fashion, and beauty event!

That means there will be an incredible 50,000 cocktails and champagnes served over the weekend; an amazing 2,000 sets of nails manicured and painted; some 600 new hair styles and 300 spa treatments.

Tom Lovering, organiser of Girls’ Day Out, said: “There’s simply no other event when girls can get together at the one location and spend the whole day indulging themselves in whatever way imaginable!

“From exclusive fashions and pampering sessions, a whole host of health and beauty offers, with in-house champagne and cocktail bars to unwind in between sessions – all under the one roof, it would take months to get around all that’s on offer at the Girls’ Day Out event at the typical girls’ day out!”

Already twice as big as last year’s event, tickets for this year’s Girls’ Day Out show costing £12.00 can be bought at the door. All ticket holders will receive a Boots goody bag worth at least £30.00.
