LAST weekend’s ‘Girls’ Day Out’ show – considered Scotland’s biggest ever health, lifestyle, fashion and beauty event – was the biggest and best yet.
That’s because almost 20,000 women flocked to the third ‘Girls’ Day Out’ at the SECC in Glasgow to quaff nearly 50,000 cocktails and champagnes; have 2,000 sets of nails manicured and painted and receive some 600 new hair styles and 300 spa treatments!
Tom Lovering, organiser of Girls’ Day Out, said: “The tremendous feedback we’ve received from stall holders and ticket holders alike confirms that the show was a fantastic success.
“After all, there’s simply no other event when girls can get together at the one location and spend the whole day indulging themselves in whatever way imaginable – and indulge themselves they did – sampling everything from teeth whitening and eyelash extensions to Thai foot massages and boudoir photo shoots!”
The success of the latest Girls’ Day Out has already prompted organisers to schedule another show for the same venue in November.
