Media Release: Kinross Cycling Club wheels in 2010 with new uniform

JUST one year after it was launched, Kinross Cycling Club in Perthshire has attracted 24 members into its ranks and will wheel in the new year with a fantastic new strip.

The club, which was founded by Doctor Roddy Pattison from Kinross, celebrates its one year anniversary this month and has a number of members who also take part in the annual Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia event in Highland Perthshire to raise vital funds for the charity.

The new strip adopts the purple hues of the Kinross schools, combined with a striking gold designed to maximise the cyclist’s visibility on the roads.

KCC is affiliated to Scottish Cycling and meets weekly during the autumn and winter months, although rides are cancelled in very bad weather.
